QUALITY STANDARDS AND ENVIRONMENT
Since 2006, Grupo Caliche holds the AENOR quality certificate (ISO 9001:2000), accepted and recognized worldwide.
We are compliant with the EU Directive 178/2002 and the one applied to Organic Farming. We have also implemented the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and hold the BRC Certificate (British Retail Consortium).
Grupo Caliche’s work system has always kept the environment in mind, and we have tried to minimize the impact our industry has on it by reducing CO2 emissions as much as possible.
We abide by this commitment by taking the following actions:
// We pick up the goods in small-engine trucks.
// Waiting periods are shorter.
// We do not produce any additional CO2 as we keep the goods in refrigerators as opposed to keeping them in the trailers.
// We are currently working on a project to have installed and use solar panels to reduce our energy dependence, and to encourage the use of renewable energies.
All these actions have helped us to be selected as one of the few companies which are part of a programme known as "Sustainable Development in the Region of Murcia (Spain)".
